Edgar: The Marketing Ninja

When we started in 2020, we weren't Chainlift yet. We were Layman's Marketing: a digital marketing agency dedicated to sharing gatekept tech with the little guy. The brand identity didn't really make sense, but it was cute. The idea was to try and put a positive spin on ad trackers by imagining them as little cartoon marketing ninjas. "Edgar" was a reference to Strong Bad's antivirus software. Soon, though, we realized we didn't want to be in the antiprivacy business, so we rebranded in 2021 and shifted focus towards design and development.
